Fix bounce rate spikes
Diagnose and recover when outbound bounce rates increase.
Prerequisites
- At least one verified sending domain
- Recent campaign or agent sends
Steps
- Open Mail health in your Pam Pod
- Review recent bounces and suppression list entries
- Check domain DNS and SPF/DKIM status
- Pause campaigns if bounce rate exceeds your policy threshold
High bounce rates damage domain reputation. Remove invalid addresses and verify list quality before resuming sends.
Expected result
Bounce rate returns below your policy threshold and suppressed invalid addresses are removed from active lists.
If something goes wrong
If bounces continue after list cleanup, open a support request with domain name and sample bounce codes from Mail health.
