DNS troubleshooting for sending domains

Resolve domain verification failures and mail authentication gaps.

Prerequisites

• Access to DNS provider for your sending domain

Steps

1. Open Domains in your Pam Pod and copy required records
2. Compare live DNS answers with expected SPF, DKIM, and return-path values
3. Remove conflicting SPF includes or duplicate DKIM selectors
4. Wait for DNS propagation and trigger re-check in Domains

Exact record values appear in Domains settings. Do not send from unverified domains.

Expected result

Domain verification completes and mail authentication checks pass in Domains health.

If something goes wrong

Some DNS providers cache old records for up to 48 hours. Document current values before contacting support.
